Glendale
Plaza
Glendale, California
The western gateway to the City of Glendale is identified
by a new 25-story landmark located at the intersection of the 134 freeway
and Central Avenue. The building is the tallest in the financial core
of the city. The design is composed of a limestone base topped with a
five-story metal and glass curtain wall. The top of the building is integrated
into the tower by means of a “super” cornice supported by
four six-story corbels. The building is meant to represent the blending
of the entertainment and corporate worlds.
